Engen Ghana marks 25-years

Engen Ghana Ltd. (EGL) celebrated its 25-year anniversary at an event attended by the great and the good, in Accra last week.

Among those present were the Deputy Minister of Energy, representatives from the National Petroleum Authority, South African High Commissioner, Mocoh CEO Guy Hacking, the Engen Ghana Board, leaders of industry, dealers, commercial business partners, contractors and staff.

“Our Silver Jubilee is a celebration of our collective successes, indomitable spirit, and longevity,” said MD Brent Nartey. “It is a testament to our resolve to never compromise on service excellence, maintaining a clear focus on safety and sustainability, whilst meeting the evolving needs and expectations of our customers without compromising on quality.”

Recently appointed Mocoh CEO Guy Hacking also addressed those present, saying:

“I am very proud to count Engen Ghana as part of the Group…Now, let’s focus on the next 25 years and the challenges and opportunities that are ahead of us. We are strong, we are ambitious and we are a united team with a common mission to connect our customers to the essential energy and resources they need to survive.”

Over the past 25 years, Engen Ghana has grown to become a recognised and trusted brand, thriving in a highly competitive and fast evolving market. It currently operates 52 service stations nationwide and serves over 52 commercial customers. EGL was acquired by Mocoh Ghana Limited in March 2019. The company is majority Ghanaian owned and part held by the Mocoh Group.
