25-years of championing Africa and beyond

Mocoh staff gathered from around the world last week to celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary.

In his opening speech, founder Michael Hacking talked about his vision for Mocoh when he started the company in 1998:

“My vision at the time was to create a small, caring, reliable, nimble and competitive company, with strong Africa-focused business and trading expertise… We weren’t the only trading company starting to focus on Africa at that time, but what stood us apart from the others was our long-term vision and our desire to build relationships that would stand the test of time.”
